Legendary Animals
Animals play an important part in mythology, legend, and folktales. This
page is dedicated to animals which have never existed in nature (although
they may, in part, have been based upon real animals). My
cryptozoology
page is dedicated to animals which might possibly exist in nature but which
have not yet been accepted by modern science.
